With book and lyrics by George Angell and music by Paul Abel, the world premiere of this Brechtian musical about the life of the current Dalai Lama and the Chinese invasion of Tibet won national news coverage and attracted audiences of Tibetan exiles from all over the Midwestern portion of the U.S.  The photo below is of the character of the Spirit of Tibet, dressed in traditional skeleton dance costume.
